All of our gun barrels come with our own proprietary version of rifling similar to what is known as Single Edge Polygonal (SEP).  The primary function of this innovation is to provide an improved rifling for a gun barrel, which has a single edge area and a polygonal area separating the grooves.  In essence, it is a combination of standard and polygonal rifling.  This method of rifling reduces any material deformation of the bullet due to its minimal grooving.  Our process allows the bullet to move in a highly symmetrical track through the barrel, enabling significantly more straight line towards the target. Furthermore, the tighter seal of the projectile reduces forward escaping gases, and therefore, minimal loss of gas pressures. Ultimately, this design has the effect of shooting match grade ammunition at a sub MOA accuracy. TrueMax Barrels also feature a finish on the barrel extension that enhances the barrel’s resistance to wear. Additionally, all True Max barrels feature our new design: The Balanced Parallel Design.
